About MEDRVA

MEDRVA is an independent, not-for-profit, healthcare organization based in Richmond, Virginia. It opened to the public in 1952 as the Richmond Eye Hospital. Today MEDRVA Healthcare includes two outpatient surgery centers with 16 operating and procedure rooms, an imaging center, the region’s only low vision center, and the MEDRVA Foundation.
